Description

I TAed for four semesters (Spring 2020 - Fall 2021) for CS1371: Computing for Engineers. This course has approximately 800 students and 40 TAs per semester, in which I held the positions of Homework Team Lead, Course Manager, and Head TA.

This was by far the most involved teaching experience I have had to date. As Head TA, I often worked about 20 hrs/week organizing and teaching recitations, meeting with homework and test team leads to create assignments, grade assignments, and organizing all the TAs to run this large-scale course. I led weekly meeting amongst all the TAs and generated pedagogical guides to help the TAs in teaching the students. Furthermore, I assisted in directing course material and lectures for students.

As a CS education advocate, I initiated and led creating additional educational CS resources and extra credit lectures, promoting CS education further among engineer students.
